As we approach the beginning stages of what feels like Autumn, we’re proud to be stocking up our headquarters with new releases (and a re-release) for our online & in the stores listeners!

Silent Someone has dropped “right to remain Silent” for you all’s listening pleasure! It’s over ten tracks of Bronx thumpin’ vibes for those dark nights & rugged mornings now available on Bandcamp for ten bucks! His joint also includes bonus material for extended play.

As a part of our re-releases, Incksalonius has reissued her classic EP “Push” as of recently. We’ve made it available on Bandcamp for FREE! Previously released in 2000 on Earmax Records, the reissue is a timeless piece of work that will always sound PHRESH!

Take a good look at this picture. This is the work of Lemon37 from Switzerland. In speaking with him over the past few months, we find Lemon to be one of thee DOPEST Graphic Designers to ever come across the eyes of our contributors and honestly, we’re very fond of Lemon. He helped Incksalonius in the designs for Pimpstress and now for Rough D.R.A.F.T.’s upcoming release “Decibel Meters” (coming this Fall).

We’re very proud to give all of our listeners the chance to download Rough’s remix of Common’s mid 90’s hit “I used to love H.E.R.” as well as Silent’s first release off of ‘right to remain Silent” for free on Bandcamp. Help us spread the word about Real Phresh Music and our upcoming releases for the fourth quarter….we’re a small label with a BIG sound!

In it’s final stages, it’s been a looooooong journey following Silent on his debut release. The man has participated in numerous beat battles, collorated with the likes of Emskee (The Good Peoples), Cadence, Apani B. Fly Emcee, Daniel Joseph, just to name a few. Released this teaser as well as these remix joints and now FINALLY, his own release comin’ Aug. 24th! Stay tuned……

Incksalonius is one busy lady; as the label head of Real Phresh Music and event planner for “Where’s your soul?!?“, we were finally able to catch up with her on a Saturday evening to get the lastest on what’s to come for her:

” So far, the pieces of my album are slowly simmering into place. I started working on this new LP in January when I went to Belgium. It was a special thing to me to start it there because I previously did some collaborations with Belgian Artist JtotheC; realizing that we had a great musical chemistry, I wanted to kick off the album by working on the songs I had with him since I was in Belgium at the top of the year. I’m really taking my time and putting this album together because it doesn’t make sense to rush the feelings of producing music. I need to live in order to feel and create the reflections of what my life entails. As far as a release date? Right now, I just know it will be in 2011!”

“Where’s your soul?!?”:

” Myself, Jazz Jackson and Just Sayin’ are so grateful for the numerous amount of love and music that blessed our event. We were truly overwhelmed at one point at the amount of response we got from the public. As a result, we had no choice but to move the event to a bigger and better venue to accomodate the vibe of W.Y.S. So, we’re currently working towards a re-launch of W.Y.S. in October 2010. We’ll keep you psted on everything though. AND we’ve got sumthin really special for our 1st year anniversay coming up in December!”

Rough D.R.A.F.T // Remixes

Lately, we’ve been catchin’ up with Rough D.R.A.F.T. and what he’s been doing during the break of the summer. This man surely enough has his hands full! Workin’ out of Phoenix, Arizona, Draft has been remixing like crazy as well as preparing for the release of Decibel Meters very soon. He gave us an insider and put us on to remixes he’s makin for Jamma*Wun and Incksalonius! If this is true, be sure we’ll be the FIRST to bring it to ya! Draft sent us a funky remix of Paulie Rhyme’s “Dawn to Dusk” featuring Prince Po. Checkidouuuut!

You know how they say ’silence’ is deadly? Well, we can attest to that one when it comes to Silent Someone. Over the past six-months, we’ve been working on the release of his debut release “right to remain Silent” due out at the top of the summer. Over the course of several years, the man has worked with numerous Emcees in the U.S. as well as in Europe and he’s only getting started! RPM is very excited to see how far Silent has come along from just being an avid record collector to producing for many talented and well known Artists. Here’s a qik vid we found of him out diggin’. On May 27th, 2010, you will get a chance to witness the deadly ’silence” at Forbidden City in the Lower East Side.

So a looooong time ago, Incksalonius told us the story behind how the word “Pimpstress” came about. She says;

“Pimsptress was orginally a spoof of 50 Cent’s “P.I.M.P” song with Snoop Dogg where I was making fun of the whole “I’m a Pimp” ordeal. When I wrote the song, it was made from a Woman’s perspective. Little did I know that when I would perform this song, I got alot of feed back from the Ladies sayin’ how much they loved the song. I was really surprised by the overwhelming response I got. So fast-forward to 2008, I was chillin’ with one of my homegirls who put the idea in my head to make it into a Tshirt cuz that shit would be dope! Thanks to her I took a joke to the next level which would be, my release of the Tshirt this summer!”
