2012!
As this year comes to an end, we can honestly say that this year began to get the ball rolling on what’s come for the new year. We anticipate that music will continue to improve, the consciousness of the industry will begin to shift and the world as we know it will also begin to change (aside from what we already see…). We’d like to spread lots of love to everyone who joined our team, those of you who became a fan of the music we released, and to everyone who came up to us willing to support us whether it was through just spreading the word or helping us get to bigger and better outlets. Specifically, we’d like to thank Dios Music/BulLion Entertainment, Sumthing Distribution, Good Felons, TME Studios, Solid LLC, Laid Back Radio, We Funk Radio, and all the independent entities we’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with this year! We are looking forward to a bigger and brighter year.

We’ve got the Real Phresh Crew rockin out on December 9th in Williamsburg, Brooklyn ya’ll! Set the holidays off right with Silent Someone on the wheels all night, performances from Incksalonius, Jamma Wun, Oxygen of Spox PhD and our homie Varyus Waise! We will also have live Art on the premises being conducted by the skilled Ooge of the Allnitas Crew!

Heart ‘n Soul
After a six-month hiatus, our once monthly event Where’s your Soul returns October 1st! We’ve made this event extra special by teaming up with Professional Chef; Kim Boyce to launch her company Heart ‘n Soul catering! We’ve had the pleasure in having her at our previous events catering for our Artists and special Guests; and the treats were delicious!
October 1st, we will be hosting this all inclusive and exclusive event in the heart of Bed-Stuy with performances from Incksalonius, Jamma*Wun and introducing Azania! Spinnin’ the tunes will be Dj Jeff Haze and Chef Kim will be presenting her fusion of soul and Carribean cuisines with a special Vegan dish dedicated to the memory of Jamal “Dj Metaphysic” Gordon.

The Basics
For your Summer listening pleasure, a new EP from our girl Incksalonius with features from Trip Stone, Oxygen (from Sputnik Brown) and all production by Silent Someone. Incksalonius says “It’s all for fun with this EP, because I know my fans are thirsty for an LP from me. I luv droppin EP’s cuz they’re just short, sweet and straight to the point. It’s also a cool way to just play with ideas to figure out the right balance according to what you’re aiming for musically. But a new LP is in the works as we speak!”

New Age Golden Rule x Jamma*Wu...
Last weekend, Baltimore came through heavy for the New Age Golden Rule album release party via Jamma*Wun at the Hudson Chateau. With performances by the Man himself; Jamma, Incksalonius and Jerell, it was night made memorable! Jamma*Wun tore the stage down while accompanied by his budding live band, the crowd was awed by the all-time energetic and animated Emcee. The live version of the singles “David’s Story” and “Pray for the Devil” rang through the air and swayed the crowd packed into the performance area. With many other Emcees in attendance, an extra large cipher rockin’ over the live band was the perfect ending to the highly anticipated night!

In honor of Black History Month, it’s only right that we drop Silent’s “Retrogression (Late Nite Remix)” this month! Silent’s soon to be released “Change” ep will feature this remix for your downloading pleasure.
Directed by our girl Incksalonius, this video was shot by Quann Williams (Mad Music) on a sunny and mild day in East New York, Brooklyn. The message in “Retrogression” simply suggests peace and unity amongst not only African Americans, but people of all races all around the world. So, with that being said…spread some love to your fellow Brother or Sister! Share this video with them as well! Peace….
